The former Chairman of the Cleveland Police Authority Dave McLuckie a Labour Councillor of Great Ayton, was found Guilty on June 18 after a week-long trial at Newcastle Crown Court of Persuading his friend Maurice Ward to take three speeding points on his behalf to avoid being banned from driving in 2005, when he was Vice-Chairman of the Cleveland Police Authority & already had nine points on his licence and feared a ban for reaching 12 points would Scupper his Chances of getting the Top Job as Chairman of the Cleveland Police Authority
Was the Motive “Money” Money” “Money”
Today at Newcastle Crown Court McLuckie was jailed for Eight (8) Months for Perverting the Course of Justice his Dishonest Deceitful Criminal actions were Compared to those of former MP Chris Huhne who was given the same sentence after he persuaded his former wife to take speeding points for him !
Sentencing McLuckie, the judge David Wood said: “This kind of offence strikes at the heart of the legal system, so is regarded so seriously that only custody is an option.”
The 52-year-old showed no emotion when the sentence was passed !
It is unbelievable that a Chairman of a Police Authority can Conceal from his colleagues on the Police Committee his own gross Criminal Misconduct for Seven Years,
Highly Suspicious, you can Hide the Fish but “NOT” the smell !
There is something “Very Sinister” about an organisation like the Cleveland Police authority when one Considers other incidents- that have Happened on McLuckies Watch- a Chief Constable “Sacked” a Deputy Chief Constable Suspended- I think the McLuckie affair is just the tip of the Iceberg- one can only wonder what is going on in Cleveland ?
Rumour has it the Ex-Mayor of Hartlepool Stuart Drummond, was or still is a Member of the Cleveland Police authority? If that is true- the mind boggles!
I found Drummond to be a Highly Devious Person- no different from my Own Labour Ward Councillors! ROB COOK- SHEILA GRIFFIN – SYLVIAL TEMPEST All Completely Unbelievable & Most Certainly Untrustworthy !
I have noticed that a few Press reports insisting mistakenly- on calling this Overweight Hypocritical tub of lard a “Police Chief” he was “NOT” he was a Corrupt High flying Labour Councillor who was on the Police Committee,
for which he no doubt was well paid ?
His fall from Grace has seen him resign from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council and he is believed to be on ‘gardening leave’ from his post at Cleveland Potash.
No Doubt his friends in the Labour Party will find him another well paid Senior Position – they have to help him- he knows where the bodies are Buried- is it possible like Drummond- he could be Considered a future Member of Parliament for Hartlepool after all is said and done he has proved -that he as all the Qualities Required of a LABOUR POLITICIAN
he is without doubt a Deceitful Hypercritic- Liar- & a Complete Scoundrel;- and can now ad jailbird to his C.V. can’t get any better than that! and who can ever forget the words of his Legal Council- Lawyer -Julian Smith, who described McLuckie as a man of Good Character, and Great Integrity who had Done Much Good for his Community -If there is anyone stupid enough to believe that load of rubbish- we deserved all we wish for!
Remember -Hartlepool Borough Council is where anything goes, Rules can be bent and the rule of law discarded? Misconduct in public office is a daily event-
